Power BI

Power BI

Power BI Introduction gets you started with Microsoft’s powerful data analysis and Business intelligence tools. You’ll get a full overview of the Power BI software and service. By the end of the course, you should be able to build reports and dashboards.

The Intermediate course has a focus on using Power BI to solve problems. It looks in more detail at DAX expressions, manipulating data and working with the query editor.

Due to this relationship in how the Introduction and Intermediate course interact, they are often taken as one program.

Power BI Introduction

This course looks at the key concepts of Power BI and introduces course delegates to report and dashboard creation in Power BI. Time is spent identifying the differences between the online and desktop experience in Power BI, as this can be key to sharing Business Intelligence reporting through an organisation.

Power BI Intermediate

This course is all about improving data analysis skills. More time is spent on data relationships and data modelling. The DAX language is introduced in greater detail, as is problem-solving in Power BI using both visualisations and DAX.

Power BI Advanced

The Power BI Advanced course is targeted at experienced users of Power BI. The use of Azure, the use of advanced DAX formulas, and data modelling are all covered. It also includes using Workflows, Power Query and Custom Advanced Visuals.
